<![CDATA[Social media has become an important channel for public communication by government officials, including in post-crisis communication situations. This study aims to analyze the dynamics that occur in the public communication of the Mayor of Surabaya through Instagram after a communication crisis. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with literature study and content analysis techniques on Instagram posts before and after the communication crisis. The results show that there were no significant explicit changes on Instagram. Instagram continued to be used as a medium for conveying government information and public services. However, a deeper analysis reveals subtle dynamics in public communication, such as a temporary pause in Instagram posts, changes in the tempo of digital communication, and the emergence of a communication pattern in the form of content collaboration with accounts related to the city of Surabaya. This study concludes that post-crisis communication is not always marked by major changes, but rather by gradual adjustments in the patterns, tempo, and forms of communication that reflect the caution of public officials in communicating on social media.
