The academic of students in IPAS instruction at the elementary school level is a concern that needs to be addressed in the learning process. This research intends to enhance students' academic performance in IPAS by utilizing the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) method. This is a classroom action research study employing both quantitative and qualitative methods, carried out in two cycles: Cycle I included two sessions, while Cycle II featured one session. The study participants consisted of 27 fourth-grade pupils at SDN 21 Bandar Buat in Padang, including 14 boys and 13 girls. The findings indicated progress in every cycle; learning outcomes rose from an average of 72 in Cycle I to 87 in Cycle II. Likewise, for the teaching module, the average rose from 73% in Cycle I to 93% in Cycle II. Concerning teacher performance, the average of 74% in Cycle I rose to 89% in Cycle II. Concerning student participation, the average of 73% in Cycle I rose to 89% in Cycle II.
