Abstract

Gamification in learning has become an innovative strategy to increase student engagement and motivation, particularly at the elementary school level. This research aims to analyze the effectiveness of gamification implementation in the classroom environment and identify optimal strategies that can be used by educators. The research method used is a literature review and case studies in several elementary schools that have implemented gamification in the teaching-learning process. The results showed that gamification elements, such as badges, points, challenges, and leaderboards, can increase students' active participation, strengthen concept understanding, and foster intrinsic motivation in learning. In addition, the use of competitive and collaborative elements in gamification helps build social skills and increase students' self-confidence. Thus, optimizing gamification strategies can be an effective solution in creating a more engaging and interactive learning experience in elementary schools.
