Classical Arabic possesses unique characteristics that distinguish it from other languages. This research aims to identify these characteristics and their relevance to the Arabic language teaching process. The research employs a descriptive qualitative approach and utilizes a library-based approach, employing two methods for data collection: documentation and indexing. The results of this research show that the characteristics of the Arabic language, and studying the characteristics of the Arabic language, have an important place in learning it. Among its characteristics is that it is the language of the Islamic religion, which is the last of the religions, and many of the Muslim community speak its Arabic language, Its system is distinguished by the fact that it is an ancient language whose phonetic, semantic, and structural system has remained stable and has been spared from change, which enables its later generations to understand their heritage. Thus, the language remains stable and preserves itself from being lost. Among its characteristics are those related to phonetics, derivation, inflection, synonymy, and ease.
