AbstrakNyeri adalah suatu sensasi yang sangat tidak menyenangkan. Pemasangan infus merupakan salah satu prosedur invasif yang menimbulkan nyeri pada anak. Salah satu teknik nonfarmakologi yang dapat dilakukan untuk mengurangi nyeri yaitu teknik distraksi audio visual (menonton kartun animasi). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan Teknik Distraksi Audio Visual Terhadap Tingkat Nyeri Pada Prosedur Invasif Pemasangan Infus anak Usia Pra Sekolah. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain quasi-experimental dengan pendekatan nonequivalent control group, after only design, dengan pengambilan sampel yaitu accidental sampling. Populasi penelitian ini adalah semua anak usia pra sekolah yang mengalami prosedur invasif pemasangan infus di ruang Madinah. Jumlah sampel penelitian ini sebanyak 20 orang anak usia pra sekolah. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada tanggal 6-24 Juli 2021. Hasil penelitian didapatkan dengan uji statistik Man Whitney test dimana rata-rata tingkat nyeri kelompok intervensi sebesar 3,40 dan rata-rata tingkat nyeri kelompok kontrol sebesar 7,20 ρ value = 0,000, dengan nilai α =0,05 (p< α), berarti ada perbedaan rata-rata tingkat nyeri pada penggunaan teknik distraksi audio visual pada prosedur invasif pemasangan infus anak usia pra sekolah pada kelompok intervensi dan kelompok kontrol di ruang Madinah Rumah Sakit Islam Siti Khadijah Palembang. The results were obtained by using the Man Whitney test statistic where the average pain level of the intervention group was 3.40 and the average pain level of the control group was 7.20 value = 0.000, with the value of = 0.05 (p < ), it means that there is a difference in the average level of pain in the use of audio-visual distraction techniques in the invasive procedure of infusion of pre-school children in the intervention group and the control group in the Medina room at home Siti Khadijah Islamic Hospital Palembang.
