This study analyzes the empowerment of youth organizations (Karang Taruna) in preserving local arts and culture in Singapadu Village, Gianyar. The study is motivated by the decreasing interest of younger generations in traditional arts due to globalization and modernization. The objective of this research is to identify the forms of empowerment, examine the role of Karang Taruna, and evaluate its impact on cultural sustainability. This research is grounded in community empowerment theory and cultural preservation concepts. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed, with data collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The results indicate that Karang Taruna actively facilitates cultural activities, including traditional dance training, gamelan practice, and village cultural events. The empowerment process enhances youth participation, strengthens cultural identity, and fosters social cohesion within the community. Furthermore, collaboration between youth organizations, community leaders, and local government supports the sustainability of local cultural heritage.
