Indonesia is a country known for its religious, ethnic, and cultural diversity, requiring serious efforts to maintain harmony and peaceful coexistence. The challenges faced in religious life are becoming increasingly complex in the midst of globalisation and the rise of radical ideologies that threaten tolerance and peace. The phenomenon of increasing polarisation and conflict between religious groups highlights the importance of religion in building social cohesion. This study aims to examine religious moderation from the perspective of Christian theology and contemporary social dynamics. The method used is a qualitative-descriptive study through theological and social literature review. The findings reveal that the theological foundation of religious moderation in Christianity, rooted in biblical values and the theology of Christ's incarnation, serves as the moral and spiritual basis for believers to live harmoniously in a diverse society. When these values are implemented in contemporary social contexts through education, interfaith dialogue, and interreligious cooperation, religious moderation becomes a bridge connecting faith and social responsibility to create a moderate society.
