Poverty is a social ill in society. The government has made strenuous efforts to implement work programs to address this issue. However, these efforts have not yet addressed the problems faced by the community in a comprehensive manner. No country expects its people to live in poverty. Therefore, one necessary action is to implement food production, a process in which humans survived by raising livestock and farming. To understand food production better, in this study, the author explored food production activities using qualitative methods, using reliable sources from books, articles, interviews, and the internet. The study concluded that the problem of poverty in society can be resolved by learning from food production, a process in which humans learned to farm and raise livestock. The government is obligated to provide support to its citizens by distributing plant seeds and livestock.
