Abstract. This study aims to analyze the da‘wah planning implemented by Gerakan Istiqomah Sedekah (GIS) in Medan in fostering Islamic philanthropy awareness among the community. Islamic philanthropy awareness has become increasingly significant in contemporary social conditions marked by economic inequality and the weakening of social solidarity. This study employs a qualitative descriptive approach, utilizing data collection techniques such as observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Informants were selected through purposive sampling, involving administrators and program coordinators of GIS. The findings indicate that GIS da‘wah planning is systematically and contextually structured through six main stages: analysis of social conditions, formulation of da‘wah objectives, determination of target groups, development of strategies and programs, management of time, scale, and resources, and implementation of monitoring and evaluation mechanisms. These stages are realized through various philanthropic da‘wah programs, including dawn almsgiving, mosque carpet waqf, social assistance for orphans and vulnerable groups, and collaborative initiatives with other communities and institutions. The study demonstrates that GIS da‘wah planning aligns with Islamic values, responds effectively to social needs, and contributes to sustainable philanthropic practices. Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perencanaan dakwah yang dilakukan oleh komunitas Gerakan Istiqomah Sedekah (GIS) Kota Medan dalam membangun kesadaran filantropi Islam di tengah masyarakat. Kesadaran filantropi Islam menjadi isu penting seiring meningkatnya kesenjangan ekonomi dan melemahnya solidaritas sosial. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan Teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi. Informan penelitian ditentukan secara purposive, melibatkan pengurus dan koodinator program GIS. Hasil peneliian menunjukkan bahwa perencanaan dakwah GIS disusun secara sistematis dan kontekstual melalui enam tahapan utama, yaitu analisis kondisi sosial masyarakat, penetapan tujuan dakwah, penentuan sasaran, perumusan strategi dan program dakwah, pengelolaan sumber daya, serta evaluasi. Tahapan perencanaan tersebut diimplementasikan dalam berbagai program filantropi, seperti sedekah subuh, wakaf karpet masjid, bantuan sosial bagi anak yatim dan kelompok rentan, serta program kolaborasi dengan berbagai komunitas dan lembaga. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa perencanaan dakwah berbasis filantropi islam yang berlandaskan nilai-nilai islami, adaptif terhadap kondisi social dan berkontribusi dalam meningkatkan kesadaran sosial dan partisipasi masyarakat.
