Industrial work culture plays an important role in supporting operational effectiveness, work discipline, and occupational safety within a company environment. One approach that can be implemented to develop a positive work culture is the application of the 5S/5R principles, which consist of Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain. This community service activity aimed to improve workers’ understanding of industrial work culture through 5S/5R training at the Amurang Steam Power Plant (PLTU Amurang). The activity was conducted on July 20–21, 2023, involving 15 workers. The implementation method consisted of preparation, socialization sessions, and evaluation stages. The first socialization session discussed the basic concepts of industrial work culture and the principles of 5S/5R, while the second session focused on the implementation of 5S/5R in industrial work activities. Evaluation was carried out through pre-test and post-test assessments to measure participants’ understanding before and after the training. The evaluation results indicated an increase in participants’ understanding from 40% to 80% after the activity. These findings demonstrate that the socialization and training activities were effective in improving workers’ knowledge regarding the importance of maintaining a disciplined, organized, clean, and safe work environment in industrial settings.
