This article will explain the stereotypes in the Axis advertisement "Move On". The theoretical basis used in this article is Stuart Hall's theory which answers how the media becomes a place for the production and transformation of ideology using a critical approach. The media helps create and change ideologies, including the definition and description of etnic. The media does this through inferential racism, which is a representation of events related to hidden racism. This type of research is qualitative research, using a semiotic approach and racial stereotypes proposed by Stuart Hall. By using this approach the author attempts to explain how the process of racism occurs in this advertisement. The results obtained are that the media is very interesting to be used as a product offering and minority figures are very effective as material for advertising parodies and stereotypes of an advertisement as if it has become a familiar item for product makers, it cannot be denied that this AXIS advertisement has also utilized all of that. This advertisement tells the story of Nick as one of the children of the Nick Au tribe who is shocked when he receives a short message “break up” from his girlfriend Micka. After he gave up, he immediately updated his Twitter status with the words "Nick. Single #MoveOn." Seeing Nick's update like that, the women who found out immediately became hysterical and started teasing Nick. In the end, Micka regretted it and asked Nick to get back. This advertisement contains many stereotypical elements that are presented, including Papuans who are proud of their traditional clothing, but it is unfortunate that the actor who plays the role is not a native Papuan.
