Stunting remains a critical health challenge in the Kubu Raya Regency, driven by monotonous dietary patterns and high dependency on market-supplied food. Despite having abundant residential yard space, the community in Punggur Kapuas Village has not optimally utilized these areas for food production due to a lack of technical knowledge. This program aimed to enhance the knowledge and skills of local households in managing their yards sustainably to improve family nutrition. The program employed a participatory empowerment approach involving 20 participants. The methodology included coordination, interactive nutrition workshops, hands-on technical training (seed sowing, polybag preparation, organic composting), and intensive monitoring. The initiative resulted in a significant transformation of technical skills. Participants successfully mastered organic fertilizer production and diversified crops with nutrient-dense vegetables. The program fostered high community engagement and established a foundation for food self-sufficiency. Yard optimization serves as a strategic solution for achieving family food independence. Sustainability depends on institutionalizing these activities through Community Self-Help Groups (KSM).
