<![CDATA[This research is motivated by the importance of textile material selection in determining the quality of the pleated sleeve design technique on women's blouses, as fabric characteristics are suspected to influence the neatness, shape retention, and aesthetic value. This study aims to describe: (1) the finished results of women's blouses with the pleated sleeve design technique using Roberto Cavalli satin and Maxmara satin in terms of the neatness of the pleated sleeve design, (2) the finished results of women's blouses with the pleated sleeve design technique using Roberto Cavalli satin and Maxmara satin in terms of the shape retention of the pleated sleeve design, (3) the finished results of women's blouses with the pleated sleeve design technique using Roberto Cavalli satin and Maxmara satin in terms of aesthetic value, and (4) the effect of using Roberto Cavalli satin and Maxmara satin on the results of the pleated sleeve design technique on women's blouses. This research is classified as applied research with a quantitative approach. The data used in this study were primary data obtained through the distribution of questionnaires to 18 panelists, consisting of 3 expert panelists and 15 trained panelists. The data collection technique employed a questionnaire using a Likert scale. The validity test was conducted using the Pearson Product Moment correlation, in which an item was considered valid if the calculated r-value exceeded the r-table value at a significance level of 0.05. Furthermore, the reliability test was performed using Cronbach’s Alpha, with the instrument considered reliable if the Alpha value was greater than 0.60. The data were processed using quantitative descriptive analysis and inferential analysis including normality tests, homogeneity tests, and independent sample t-tests. The results showed that Roberto Cavalli satin achieved a percentage of 93.27% in the "very appropriate" category, while Maxmara satin achieved a percentage of 78.4% in the "appropriate" category. The independent sample t-test results showed a significance value of 0.000 0.05, which means there is a significant effect of the type of fabric used on the results of the pleated sleeve design technique on women's blouses. This indicates that the results of the pleated sleeve design technique are influenced by the type of fabric used, with Roberto Cavalli satin producing better results compared to Maxmara satin. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pentingnya pemilihan bahan tekstil dalam menentukan kualitas hasil teknik pleated sleeve design pada blus wanita, dimana karakteristik bahan diduga memengaruhi kerapian, ketahanan bentuk, dan nilai estetika. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan: (1) hasil jadi blus wanita dengan teknik pleated sleeve design menggunakan bahan satin Roberto cavalli dan satin Maxmara ditinjau dari segi kerapian bentuk, (2) hasil jadi blus wanita dengan teknik pleated sleeve design menggunakan bahan satin Roberto cavalli dan satin Maxmara ditinjau dari segi ketahanan bentuk, (3) hasil jadi blus wanita dengan teknik pleated sleeve design menggunakan bahan satin Roberto cavalli dan satin Maxmara ditinjau dari segi nilai estetika serta (4) Pengaruh penggunaan bahan satin Roberto cavalli dan satin Maxmara terhadap hasil teknik pleated sleeve design pada blus wanita. Penelitian ini digolongkan kepada penelitian terapan dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini merupakan data primer yang diperoleh melalui penyebaran kuesioner kepada 18 panelis, yang terdiri atas 3 panelis ahli dan 15 panelis terlatih. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan kuesioner dengan skala Likert. Pengujian validitas instrumen dilakukan dengan menggunakan korelasi Pearson Product Moment, di mana suatu item dinyatakan valid apabila nilai r hitung melebihi r tabel pada tingkat signifikansi 0,05. Selanjutnya, uji reliabilitas dilakukan menggunakan koefisien Cronbach’s Alpha, dengan kriteria bahwa instrumen dinyatakan reliabel jika nilai Alpha lebih dari 0,60. Data diolah melalui analisis deskriptif kuantitatif serta analisis inferensial dengan uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, dan uji independent sample t-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bahan satin Roberto cavalli memperoleh persentase sebesar 93,27% dengan kategori sangat sesuai, sedangkan bahan satin Maxmara memperoleh persentase sebesar 78,4% dengan kategori sesuai. Hasil uji independent sample t-test menunjukkan nilai signifikansi 0,000 0,05, yang berarti terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara penggunaan jenis bahan terhadap hasil teknik pleated sleeve design pada blus wanita. Artinya, hasil teknik pleated sleeve design dipengaruhi oleh jenis bahan yang digunakan, dimana satin Roberto cavalli memberikan hasil yang lebih baik dibandingkan satin Maxmara.]]>
