This study aims to determine the challenges of character formation for students in the digital era, the role of Pancasila education in shaping student character, and the implementation of Pancasila values in student life in the digital era. The research method used is descriptive research with library research. Research activities are carried out by collecting information and data with the help of various existing materials. The results of the study indicate that there are several challenges in character formation for students in the digital era, namely easy access to information without moral filtration, negative behavior in cyberspace (cyberbullying, misuse of social media), declining ethical digital literacy skills, individualism and declining social solidarity as well as social pressure and identity crisis in the digital era. The role of Pancasila education in shaping student character in the digital era includes several aspects, namely instilling moral values and national ethics, building nationalism and national attitudes, developing emotional and social intelligence, becoming a moral foundation in digital literacy and encouraging critical thinking and tolerance. Some implementations of the values of each Pancasila principle in the lives of students in the digital era include the implementation of the value of belief in the one and only God, for example, maintaining proper speech and communication ethics on social media, rejecting content that demeans other religions or beliefs, and practicing tolerance towards differences.
