This study aims to determine the meaning of social conflict in community life, the factors causing social conflict in society, and law enforcement efforts in creating peace and harmony in society. The research method used is descriptive research with library research. Assisted research activities are carried out by collecting information and data from various available materials. The results of the study indicate that social conflict in community life can be understood as a process of conflict that occurs due to differences in interests, values, or goals between individuals and groups. Conflict is an unavoidable part of the dynamics of social life in a pluralistic society. Therefore, a good understanding of social conflict is crucial so that society can manage conflict wisely and maintain harmony in communal life. Social conflict in society is influenced by various factors, including differences in interests, differences in values and beliefs, social inequality, rapid social change, misunderstandings in communication, and weak law enforcement. These factors are interrelated and can increase the potential for conflict if not managed properly. Therefore, efforts to prevent social conflict require a comprehensive approach, such as increasing dialogue between community groups, strengthening the legal system, and reducing social inequality.
