The rapid development of digital technology has ushered in the era of Agriculture 4.0, where the Internet of Things (IoT) serves as the primary backbone for optimizing agricultural processes. This article explores the integration of IoT for land management and agricultural production, focusing on research and publications from 2017 to 2022. By implementing various sensors, connectivity layers, and data analysis platforms, IoT enables real-time monitoring of environmental parameters, leading to precision agriculture. The results indicate that IoT integration can increase crop yields by up to 40% while reducing water and nutrient waste by 25-30%. Furthermore, this study discusses the technical architecture, implementation challenges in Indonesia, and the economic benefits of smart farming. The comprehensive analysis aims to provide a strategic framework for stakeholders to adopt IoT solutions in enhancing national food security.
