The rapid growth of social media has given rise to novel digital environments that have a major impact on the conduct and personality of santri, necessitating the enhancement of Islamic digital ethics in pesantren education. This community involvement program intends to change santri's digital ethics by using a social media-based Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning approach that is implemented in a pesantren setting. Throughout the program's implementation, a participatory mentorship model was used, including santri, PAI instructors, and pesantren administrators. By promoting the responsible use of social media as a learning platform and a means of creating Islamic digital content, the learning model integrated Islamic digital ethics into PAI education and fostered direct application. Program evaluation was conducted by examining santri-created materials, pre- and post-test exams, and observations. The findings demonstrate that santri's knowledge, behaviors, and practices related to Islamic digital ethics have significantly improved, as evidenced by greater respect for online interactions and their capacity to produce ethical, educational, and value-based digital content. This curriculum shows that social media–based PAI learning can be a successful and long-lasting approach to developing santri's digital character in the digital age.
