Latar belakang dari penelitian ini adalah kurangnya kemampuan siswa dalam menulis teks pengalaman pribadi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan menulis téks pengalaman pribadi sebelum dan sesudah, aspek-aspek yang meningkat, juga respon siswa terhadap penerapan media pembelajaran Archive Instagram Story dalam menulis teks pengalaman pribadi. Metode yang dipakai pada penelitian ini adalah metode studi kuasi eskperimen terhadap siswa kelas VII-D SMP Pasundan 6 Bandung Taun Ajar 2023/2024 menggunakan pre-test dan post-test design. Teknik yang dipakai yaitu Teknik tes tulis dalam bentuk perintah dan juga angket menggunakan SPSS PASW veris 26. Hasil dari penelitian ini: (1) kemampuan siswa sebelum menggunakan media Archive Instagram Story tergolong belum mampu dengan rata-rata 49,44; (2) kemampuan sesudah menggunakan media Archive Instagram Story tergolong mampu dengan rata-rata 77,22; (3) ada perbedaan yang signifikan antara kemampuah sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan media Archive Instagram Story dengan signifikansi Sig.(2-tailed)) 0,000. Nilai signifikansi 0,000 ≤ 0,05; (5) respon siswa terhadap media Archive Instagram Story terbilang bagus. Dengan itu, media pembelajaran Archive Instagram Story bisa meningkatkan kemampuan menulis teks pengalaman pribadi siswa kelas VII-D SMP Pasundan 6 Bandung Taun Ajar 2023/2024. The background of this research is the lack of students' ability to write personal experience texts. The aim of this research is to describe the ability to write personal experience texts before and after, aspects that have improved, as well as students' responses to the application of the Archive Instagram Story learning media in writing personal experience texts. The method used in this research is a quasi-experimental study method for students in class VII-D of SMP Pasundan 6 Bandung for the 2023/2024 Academic Year using a pre-test and post-test design. The technique used is a written test technique in the form of instructions and also a questionnaire using SPSS PASW version 26. The results of this research: (1) students' abilities before using Archive Instagram Story media were classified as inadequate with an average of 49.44; (2) ability after using Archive Instagram Story media is classified as capable with an average of 77.22; (3) there is a significant difference between abilities before and after using Archive Instagram Story media with a significance Sig.(2-tailed)) 0.000. Significance value 0.000 ≤ 0.05; (5) students' responses to the Archive Instagram Story media were fairly good. With this, the Archive Instagram Story learning media can improve the ability to write personal experience texts for class VII-D students at Pasundan 6 Middle School in Bandung for the 2023/2024 academic year.
