The widespread phenomenon of environmental degradation has become a serious threat to the sustainability of human life and nature, as it affects not only ecological aspects but also social and economic dimensions. It is evident that discrimination against the role of women, particularly in environmental conservation, still persists. This article seeks to integrate Vandana Shiva’s ecofeminist perspective with ecotheology in the interpretation of the Qur’an, as reflected in Qur’anic verses related to ecology, such as QS. Al-Baqarah [2]: 30, QS. Ar-Rum [30]: 41, and QS. Ar-Rahman [55]: 7–9, as well as verses emphasizing gender equality, such as QS. An-Nisa [4]: 32 and QS. An-Nahl [16]: 97. This research is a library-based study employing a qualitative approach and descriptive-analytical methods. The findings indicate that the integration of Vandana Shiva’s ecofeminist concept with ecotheological interpretations of the Qur’an gives rise to the concept of *Qur’anic Ecofeminism*, which can serve as a foundation for ecological practices that incorporate social values toward humanistic ecological development. Therefore, the role of women in environmental conservation holds a strategic position in achieving ecological sustainability.
