Abstract

Abstrak Mathematical numeracy literacy is a crucial skill for elementary students. This study aims to explore the application of numeracy literacy in mathematics learning, specifically regarding flat-shape angles at MI NW Karang Bata. Using a qualitative approach with a case study design, data was collected through observations, teacher interviews, and documentation of student learning outcomes. Results indicate that the application of numeracy literacy is still limited to basic concept introduction and simple teaching aids, despite efforts to relate the material to daily life. Major challenges include limited media, teacher understanding of numeracy literacy, and a lack of training. The application of numeracy literacy has a positive impact on concept understanding, critical thinking skills, and student interest. This study recommends increased teacher training and the development of more contextual learning media. Abstract Literasi numerasi matematika merupakan kemampuan penting yang harus dimiliki siswa sejak pendidikan dasar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi penerapan literasi numerasi pada pembelajaran matematika, khususnya materi sudut pada bidang datar di MI NW Karang Bata. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara dengan guru, dan dokumentasi hasil belajar siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan literasi numerasi masih terbatas pada pengenalan konsep dasar dan penggunaan alat peraga sederhana, meskipun telah ada upaya mengaitkan materi dengan kehidupan sehari-hari.
