The purpose of this study is to identify various social factors affecting the preference for increasing higher education interest among women in Sidarata Village, Banjarnegara Regency, Central Java Province. A qualitative approach using a case study design was employed in this research. Data collection was conducted through unstructured interviews, participatory observation, and document analysis. The results of the study indicate the presence of various organic social factors in driving increased interest in higher education among women in Sidarata Village, including improvements in socio-economic conditions, politics, culture, and family paradigms regarding the importance of education. The findings of this study confirm that increased interest in education cannot be separated from the various social factors surrounding both individuals and the community.
