ABSTRACT This study was based on the fact that there were still students who were unable to memorize the prayer recitations and properly perform the prayer movements. This study aims to examine the implementation of Dhuha prayer habituation as an effort to improve the reading and practice skills of prayers among students of MI Al Islam Kartasura. The method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques in the form of participatory observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation. The validity of the data was tested through source triangulation and method triangulation, and analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model. The results of the study indicate that the habituation process of Dhuha prayer carried out by first and second-grade students every day in the prayer room has been proven to improve both prayer reading skills and good prayer practice abilities. Efforts such as the implementation of the jahr method (collective loud reading) and rotating imams in first and second grade can improve students' memorization of prayer recitations and encourage the growth of individual learning as well as serve as an example for other students. This study recommends a structured habit of performing dhuha prayer and the role of teachers as continuous student mentors as an effective worship learning strategy at the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah level. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini didasarkan pada masih ditemukannya peserta didik yang belum mampu menghafal bacaan serta mempraktikkan gerakan salat dengan benar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pelaksanaan pembiasaan sholat dhuha sebagai upaya meningkatkan kemampuan bacaan dan praktik sholat siswa MI Al Islam Kartasura. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi partisipatif, wawancara semi-terstruktur, dan dokumentasi. Keabsahan data diuji melalui triangulasi sumber dan triangulasi metode, serta dianalisis menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa proses pembiasaan (habituasi) sholat dhuha yang dilakukan oleh kelas I dan kelas II setiap hari di mushola terbukti dapat meningkatkan kemampuan bacaan sholat maupun kemampuan praktik sholat yang baik. Upaya seperti penerapan metode jahr (bacaan keras bersama) serta imam bergilir pada kelas I dan kelas II dapat meningkatkan kemampuan hafalan bacaan sholat siswa serta mendorong tumbuhnya pembelajaran individu dan contoh bagi siswa lain. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan pembiasaan sholat dhuha yang terstruktur serta peran guru sebagai pembimbing siswa berkesinambungan sebagai strategi pembelajaran ibadah yang efektif di jenjang Madrasah Ibtidaiyah.
