<![CDATA[Digital transformation requires students not only to be capable of writing but also proficient in searching for literature, managing references, and utilizing artificial intelligence (AI) ethically in academic writing. However, students of the Geography Education Department, FKIP Universitas Lambung Mangkurat, still face difficulties in finding relevant references, understanding the ethical use of AI, and consistently preparing citations and bibliographies. This community service activity aimed to improve academic digital literacy through an integrated hands-on training program involving 95 participants. The implementation method consisted of preparation, implementation, evaluation, and follow-up stages. Participants were trained to use various AI tools for literature searching and Mendeley for reference management. The evaluation results showed an improvement in participants’ understanding, indicated by an increase in the average score from 58.4 to 83.2 (42.4%). In addition, 86.3% of participants were able to use AI tools, 91.6% were able to use Mendeley, and 94.7% were able to independently create citations and bibliographies. These findings indicate that hands-on training is effective in improving students’ academic digital literacy in terms of skills, understanding, and ethical awareness in the use of technology.]]>
