This study aims to analyze the implementation of boarding school management in improving student achievement at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Al-Kinanah Jambi City. The research focuses on the management functions applied in the boarding school program, the outcomes achieved in improving students’ academic and non-academic achievements, as well as the obstacles and solutions encountered in its implementation. This study employed a qualitative research approach with data collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The data were analyzed using data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing techniques. The findings revealed that the management of the boarding school at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Al-Kinanah Jambi City has been implemented effectively through proper planning, organizing, implementation, and supervision. The planning process is reflected in the preparation of academic calendars, dormitory schedules, and standard operating procedures for students’ daily activities. The organizational structure is clearly arranged with well-defined duties and responsibilities. The implementation of the boarding school program runs according to schedule and supports the development of students’ discipline, religious character, and learning motivation. The results indicate that the boarding school program contributes significantly to improving student achievement both academically and non-academically. However, several obstacles were identified, including limited facilities, shortage of teaching staff, and constraints in extracurricular program development. Therefore, continuous improvement in management and infrastructure is necessary to enhance the effectiveness of the boarding school program.
