This article examines the concept of civic responsibility in Civic Education (PKn) through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach. The purpose of this study is to analyze how Civic Education contributes to the development of students’ civic responsibility, encompassing cognitive, affective, and conative dimensions. The study examined 15 national and international journal articles published between 2020 and 2025, sourced from Google Scholar and the SINTA-indexed database. The results indicate that PKn instruction employing active, contextual, and collaborative methods significantly strengthens students’ civic responsibility. The development of civic responsibility is most effective when Civic Education integrates values education with the development of practical citizenship competencies. This article provides implications for the development of more meaningful Civic Education learning strategies in schools.
