Abstract

Abstrak World Healt Organitation (WHO) (2025) menyatakan kecemasan dan gangguan mental pada ibu hamil sebanyak 10%, dan diIndonesia ibu hamil trimester III mengalami kecemasan sebanyak 28,7%. Di era digital, media sosial menjadi sumber informasi kesehatan yang banyak diakses oleh ibu hamil. Namun, konten persalinan yang bersifat dramatis, tidak terverifikasi, atau menampilkan pengalaman traumatis berpotensi meningkatkan kecemasan. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Media Sosial Terhadap Tingkat Kecemasan Ibu Hamil Trimester III Dalam Menghadapi Proses Persalinan. Metode Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan cross sectional dan menggunakan uji Chi-square test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara media sosial terhadap tingkat kecemasan ibu hamil trimester III dalam menghadapi proses persalinan dengan nilai p-value 0,000 (-0,05). Kesimpulan dan saran penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh media sosial terhadap tingkat kecemasan ibu hamil trimester III dan diharapkan ibu hamil lebih bijak serta selektif lagi dalam menerima informasi tentang persalinan disosial media. Kata kunci: Media Sosial, Tingkat Kecemasan, Ibu Hamil Trimester III Abstract The World Health Organization (WHO) (2025) stated that anxiety and mental disorders in pregnant women amounted to 10%, and in Indonesia, pregnant women in the third trimester experienced anxiety as much as 28.7%. In the digital era, social media has become a source of health information widely accessed by pregnant women. However, birth content that is dramatic, unverified, or displays traumatic experiences has the potential to increase anxiety. The purpose of this study was to determine the Influence of Media Sosial on the Anxiety Level of Pregnant Women in the Third Trimester in Facing the Childbirth Process. This research method is a quantitative study with a cross-sectional approach and uses the Chi-square test. The results showed a significant influence between social media on the anxiety level of pregnant women in the third trimester in facing the childbirth process with a p-value of 0.000 (-0.05). The conclusions and suggestions of this study indicate that there is an influence of social media on the anxiety level of pregnant women in the third trimester and it is hoped that pregnant women will be wiser and more selective in receiving information about childbirth on social media.
