<![CDATA[Smoking behavior among adolescents is one of the public health problems that can increase the risk of health disorders and unhealthy lifestyles. Community assessment findings in RW 09, Krajan Hamlet, Sukorambi Village, indicated a high prevalence of smoking behavior among adolescents, highlighting the need for health education interventions. This community service program aimed to improve adolescents’ knowledge regarding the dangers of smoking through the health education program entitled “Let’s Live Healthy Without Smoking.” The activity was conducted in RW 09, Krajan Hamlet, Sukorambi Village, Jember Regency, targeting 70 adolescents aged 13–20 years. The intervention methods included lectures, interactive discussions, and the distribution of educational leaflets and posters concerning the harmful effects of smoking and smoking cessation tips. Program evaluation was carried out using pretest and posttest questionnaires to assess participants’ knowledge before and after the health education intervention. The results demonstrated an increase in adolescents’ knowledge regarding the dangers of smoking following the educational intervention, with an improvement of 43.5%. This health education activity can serve as a promotive and preventive effort to enhance adolescent health literacy and support the development of healthy lifestyle behaviors within the community.]]>
