This research aims to examine the extent to which self-efficacy, perceptions of the teaching profession, and family support affect the interest of Padang State University students in pursuing a career as teachers. Using a causal associative research design, this study designates students of Padang State University as its population. From a total of 1,263 students, a sample consisting of 304 people was selected through Proportional Random Sampling. Primary data collected by giving a structured questionnaire to respondents. Data analysis was performed with multiple linear regression. This study indicate that (1)Self-efficacy, Perception of the teaching profession, and Family support simultaneously influence the interest in becoming a teacher of Padang State University students, (2) Self-efficacy significantly and positively influences the interest in becoming a teacher of Padang State University students, (3) Perception of the teaching profession has a significant and positive effect on the interest in becoming a teacher of Padang State University students, (4) Family support has no significant on the interest in becoming a teacher among Padang State University students.
