Abstract

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pendapatan dan kesejahteraan masyarakat melalui pelatihan komersialisasi produk olahan pisang di Jorong Mudiak Palupuah. Program ini dilaksanakan dengan mengidentifikasi potensi lokal pisang serta peluang pasar guna menghasilkan produk olahan bernilai tambah. Metode pelaksanaan menggunakan pendekatan partisipatif melalui pelatihan praktik pengolahan pisang, peningkatan kualitas produk, pengembangan merek dan kemasan, serta strategi pemasaran secara luring dan daring. Tahapan kegiatan meliputi pemetaan potensi awal, pelaksanaan pelatihan, pendampingan pengembangan produk dan pemasaran, serta evaluasi hasil kegiatan. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan keterampilan masyarakat dalam mengolah dan memasarkan produk berbasis pisang, yang ditandai dengan meningkatnya kualitas produk, terbentuknya merek yang menarik, serta meluasnya jangkauan pemasaran. Selain itu, kerja sama dengan distributor dan pengembangan inovasi produk turut mendorong peningkatan penjualan dan pendapatan. Program ini juga meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat terhadap pentingnya produk pangan yang aman dan berkualitas, sehingga berkontribusi pada penguatan ekonomi lokal dan peningkatan kesejahteraan masyarakat. This community service program aims to increase community income and welfare through commercialization training for processed banana products in Jorong Mudiak Palupuah. The program was implemented by identifying local banana potential and market opportunities to develop value-added processed products. A participatory training approach was applied, including hands-on practice in banana processing, improvement of product quality, branding and packaging development, and marketing strategies through offline and online platforms. The implementation stages consisted of initial potential mapping, training activities, mentoring in product development and marketing, and evaluation of outcomes. The results show an improvement in participants’ skills in processing and marketing banana-based products, indicated by better product quality, the creation of attractive product brands, and wider market reach. In addition, collaboration with distributors and the development of innovative product variants contributed to increased sales and income. The program also raised community awareness of the importance of producing safe and high-quality food products, thereby strengthening the local economy and improving community welfare.
