Abstract

UMKM prakarya di Jorong Pasar Ahad masih menghadapi berbagai kendala, seperti keterbatasan variasi produk, rendahnya pemanfaatan limbah sebagai bahan baku, serta lemahnya strategi pemasaran. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan produktivitas UMKM melalui inovasi produk berbasis daur ulang sampah dan pelatihan pemasaran, khususnya pemasaran digital. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan partisipatif, yang melibatkan pelaku UMKM secara aktif dalam setiap tahapan kegiatan, mulai dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, hingga evaluasi. Program dilaksanakan melalui serangkaian workshop pembuatan produk prakarya dari bahan daur ulang serta pelatihan pemasaran digital menggunakan media sosial. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan keterampilan peserta dalam mengolah limbah menjadi produk bernilai ekonomi, peningkatan variasi produk, serta bertambahnya jangkauan pemasaran dan penjualan UMKM melalui platform digital. Selain itu, kegiatan ini juga meningkatkan kesadaran pelaku UMKM terhadap pentingnya pelestarian lingkungan. Dengan demikian, program pengabdian ini terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan produktivitas UMKM sekaligus mendorong praktik usaha yang berkelanjutan berbasis pemberdayaan masyarakat. Craft-based micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Jorong Pasar Ahad continue to face various challenges, including limited product variation, low utilization of waste as raw materials, and weak marketing strategies. This community service activity aimed to improve MSME productivity through product innovation based on recycled waste materials and marketing training, particularly digital marketing. The method employed was a participatory approach that actively involved MSME actors at every stage of the program, including planning, implementation, and evaluation. The program was carried out through a series of workshops on crafting products from recycled materials and digital marketing training using social media platforms. The results showed an improvement in participants’ skills in transforming waste into economically valuable products, an increase in product variety, and expanded marketing reach and sales through digital platforms. In addition, this activity enhanced MSME actors’ awareness of the importance of environmental sustainability. Therefore, this community service program proved effective in increasing MSME productivity while promoting sustainable business practices through community empowerment
