Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan kesadaran anak-anak sekolah dasar terhadap konsep zakat dan infaq sebagai bagian dari nilai-nilai ekonomi Islam. Kegiatan dilaksanakan di SD Negeri 50 Padang Tongga dengan sasaran siswa tingkat sekolah dasar. Metode yang digunakan berupa edukasi partisipatif melalui permainan edukatif, media presentasi visual, cerita bergambar, serta diskusi ringan yang disesuaikan dengan tahap perkembangan kognitif anak. Pendekatan ini dirancang agar materi mudah dipahami dan menarik bagi peserta. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman siswa mengenai perbedaan antara zakat dan infaq serta pentingnya sikap berbagi dan kepedulian sosial terhadap sesama. Siswa juga menunjukkan antusiasme dan partisipasi aktif selama kegiatan berlangsung. Dengan demikian, kegiatan ini berkontribusi dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai keislaman, kepedulian sosial, dan tanggung jawab moral sejak usia dini, serta berpotensi menjadi model edukasi ekonomi Islam yang aplikatif di lingkungan sekolah dasar. This community service activity aims to enhance elementary school students’ understanding and awareness of zakat and infaq as fundamental values of Islamic economics. The program was conducted at SD Negeri 50 Padang Tongga and targeted elementary-level students. The method employed a participatory educational approach through educational games, visual presentation media, illustrated storytelling, and light discussions tailored to the children’s cognitive development stages. This approach was designed to ensure the material was engaging and easily understood. The results indicate an improvement in students’ understanding of the differences between zakat and infaq, as well as the importance of sharing and social responsibility. Students also demonstrated high enthusiasm and active participation throughout the activity. Therefore, this initiative contributes to instilling Islamic values, social awareness, and moral responsibility from an early age and has the potential to serve as an applicable model for Islamic economic education in elementary schools
