Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play an important role in supporting local economic development and improving community welfare. However, many MSME actors still face challenges related to low work motivation and limited understanding of human resource management, which can affect business productivity. This community service activity aimed to increase the work motivation of MSME actors in Kedungbenda Village, Purbalingga Regency, through a work motivation training program. The methods used in this activity consisted of several stages, including problem identification, preparation of training materials, implementation of training activities, and evaluation of participants’ understanding. The training was conducted through lectures, interactive discussions, and case studies related to business management. To measure the effectiveness of the activity, an evaluation was carried out using pre-test and post-test methods. The results of the evaluation showed a significant improvement in participants’ understanding of work motivation and its role in improving business productivity. Participants demonstrated greater awareness of the importance of maintaining work enthusiasm, commitment, and persistence in developing their businesses. The comparison between pre-test and post-test results indicated an increase in participants’ knowledge and motivation after participating in the training. In conclusion, the work motivation training program provided positive benefits for MSME actors in Kedungbenda Village. The activity successfully enhanced participants’ understanding of work motivation and encouraged them to improve their productivity in managing and developing their businesses.
