<![CDATA[This study discusses data collection techniques in Qur'anic exegesis (tafsir) research, which is an important aspect of Qur'anic studies. Tafsir research generally employs a qualitative approach with a library research method because the object of study consists of the Qur'anic text and interpretative literature. Data collection techniques in this study are carried out through documentation and literature review by utilizing primary sources such as the Qur'an, Hadith, and tafsir books, as well as secondary sources including books, journals, and other scholarly works. The findings indicate that appropriate data collection techniques significantly determine the quality of tafsir research, as they affect the accuracy of analysis and the depth of understanding of Qur'anic meanings. In addition, the development of digital technology has facilitated access to relevant academic sources. Therefore, data collection techniques play a strategic role in producing valid, systematic, and academically accountable tafsir research.]]>
