<![CDATA[This study aims to analyze the implementation of traumatic counseling using the empty chair technique to overcome bullying trauma among students at SMP Daarul Qur'an. Traumatic counseling is a counseling service that aims to help individuals recover from psychological distress caused by traumatic experiences through emotional expression, self-understanding, and the development of adaptive coping strategies. This study employed a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The research subject was one eighth-grade student who experienced trauma due to bullying. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted using data reduction techniques. The findings revealed that the student experienced both verbal and physical bullying, which negatively affected psychological well-being, including feelings of fear, anxiety, sadness, low self-esteem, as well as decreased learning motivation and social interaction. After participating in traumatic counseling using the empty chair technique, the student demonstrated positive changes, such as feeling more relieved and calmer, reduced fear and anxiety, increased self-confidence, and an improved ability to interact socially and focus on learning. This study provides evidence of the effectiveness of the empty chair technique in assisting the recovery of bullying-related trauma among students and may serve as a reference for school counselors in delivering traumatic counseling services in educational settings.]]>
