Generation Z is a group highly familiar with advances in digital technology, yet they tend to adopt unhealthy lifestyles. Habits such as consuming fast food, lack of physical activity, irregular sleep patterns, and high stress levels make their immune system vulnerable to weakening. Meanwhile, public understanding of the pharmacist profession remains very limited and is often merely equated with being a medicine seller in pharmacies. Therefore, this community service activity was conducted in the form of socialization regarding the role of the pharmacist profession and education on the use of local plants—ginger and turmeric—processed into an innovative herbal pudding as a healthy dessert to boost immunity among Generation Z at SMAN 13 Medan. The activity was carried out using interactive counseling methods, material presentations, group discussions, and direct demonstrations of herbal pudding production. The results show a significant improvement in participants’ understanding of the scope and actual roles of pharmacists, knowledge of the bioactive compounds and health benefits of ginger and turmeric as immune boosters, and highly enthusiastic responses toward the innovative product. Participants considered herbal pudding a more modern, practical form of preparation with a flavor preferred by young people compared to traditional herbal drinks. This activity is expected to raise health awareness among adolescents and encourage the utilization of Indonesia’s natural wealth as a base for developing beneficial healthy food innovations.
