<![CDATA[This study aimed to describe the results of an exploration of Central Kalimantan local wisdom related to force and motion materials in science learning among students in the Primary Islamic Teacher Education Program (PGMI). The study employed a qualitative descriptive approach involving 27 PGMI students enrolled in a science learning course. Students were assigned to explore various forms of Central Kalimantan local wisdom through digital sources such as journals, online articles, news, and cultural documentation related to concepts of force and motion. The research data were collected by documenting students’ assignments and presentations, then analyzed using descriptive analysis techniques, including data reduction, categorization, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that various forms of Central Kalimantan local wisdom, such as the Manasai Dance, Mandau Dance, Balogo, Manyipet, Mangayuh Jukung, rattan weaving crafts, Kalumpe, and the Sape traditional musical instrument, are closely related to the concepts of force and motion in science learning. The identified science concepts included muscular force, pushing force, pulling force, rotational motion, balance, and vibration. The novelty of this study lies in the exploration of various Central Kalimantan cultural activities directly connected to force and motion concepts based on PGMI students’ exploratory assignments.
