Background: Congestive heart failure (CHF) is a chronic condition often accompanied by sleep pattern disturbances resulting from paroxysmal nocturnal dyspnea, chest pain, and psychological distress, which significantly lowers the patients' quality of life. Objective: This study aimed to determine the effect of Murottal therapy and lavender aromatherapy on improving sleep quality in CHF patients. The research was conducted on two CHF patients of different genders undergoing treatment in the Abdurrahman Bin Auf Inpatient Ward at Al Ihsan Regional General Hospital, Bandung. Methods: This final scientific paper employed a comparative descriptive method on two distinct CHF patients. The nursing care process involved a combined intervention of listening to Murottal Al-Qur'an therapy and applying a lavender aromatherapy roll-on, administered for three consecutive days before bedtime. Results: The findings indicated an improvement in sleep quality, characterized by enhanced sleep duration, a reduced frequency of nocturnal awakenings, and an increase in the patients' subjective comfort. Conclusion: This therapy is proven to be an effective and practical non-pharmacological approach for enhancing the sleep quality of CHF patients and is recommended as a reference for providing nursing care to CHF patients with diminished sleep quality.
