<![CDATA[Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bentuk perlindungan hukum yang diberikan kepada korban tindak pidana pengancaman pembunuhan melalui media online dalam proses penyidikan di Kepolisian Resor Gowa dan menganalisis kendala yang dihadapi dalam memberikan perlindungan hokum terhadap korban tindak pidana pengancaman pembunuhan melalui media online. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian hukum empiris dengan mengumpulkan data dan melakukan wawancara dengan pihak Penyidik Kepolisian Resor Gowa dan tenaga ahli LPSK. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bentuk perlindungan hukum terhadap korban tindak pidana pengancaman pembunuhan melalui media online dalam proses penyidikan di Polres Gowa dilaksanakan melalui perlindungan keamanan, pemeriksaan yang humanis, pemberian informasi hukum, perlindungan psikologis, serta dukungan perlindungan dari LPSK yang bersifat kondisional sesuai tingkat ancaman dan kebutuhan korban guna menjamin keselamatan, kepastian hukum, dan pemulihan korban secara menyelurun. Kendala dalam memberikan perlindungan hukum terhadap korban tindak pidana pengancaman pembunuhan melalui media online dipengaruhi oleh hambatan teknis dalam pembuktian dan pelacakan pelaku, keterbatasan fasilitas serta prosedur kelembagaan, dan faktor sosial-psikologis korban yang secara keseluruhan menghambat efektivitas pemberian rasa aman, kepastian hukum, dan pemulihan korban. This study aims to analyze the forms of legal protection provided to victims of criminal threats of murder through online media during the investigation process at the Gowa Resort Police and analyze the obstacles faced in providing legal protection to victims of criminal threats of murder through online media. The research method used is empirical legal research by collecting data and conducting interviews with investigators of the Gowa Resort Police and expert staff from the Witness and Victim Protection Agency (LPSK). The results of the study indicate that The forms of legal protection for victims of criminal threats of murder through online media during the investigation process at the Gowa Resort Police are implemented through security protection, humane examination procedures, provision of legal information, psychological protection, and conditional protection support from LPSK based on the level of threat and the victim’s needs to ensure safety, legal certainty, and comprehensive victim recovery. The obstacles in providing legal protection to victims of criminal threats of murder through online media are influenced by technical difficulties in evidence collection and perpetrator tracking, limitations of facilities and institutional procedures, and socio-psychological factors of victims, which collectively hinder the effectiveness of providing a sense of security, legal certainty, and victim recovery.]]>
