<![CDATA[Abstract This study examines the Church's strategy in engaging the isolated congregation in St. Cornelius Pohon Bao Parish. This phenomenon poses a complex pastoral challenge driven by economic, social, and technological factors. This study aims to analyze the causes of congregation alienation and the pastoral strategies implemented to rebuild their ecclesial involvement. Using a qualitative descriptive method, data were gathered through interviews with the Parish Priest, church leaders, and the congregation. The results indicate that alienation stems from personal, social, and a weakened sense of community belonging. Effective pastoral strategies include pastoral visits, family accompaniment, strengthening KBG, and persuasive personal approaches. This study concludes that an integrative pastoral model combining personal accompaniment and family involvement is more effective than solely relying on liturgical activities. The novelty lies in identifying this integrative pastoral model within a rural parish context, contributing to contextual and participatory synodal church development. Keywords: ecclesial base communities, isolated communities, pastoral accompaniment, pastoral strategy, synodal church Abstrak Penelitian ini mengkaji strategi Gereja dalam merangkul “umat yang terasing” di Paroki St. Kornelius Pohon Bao. Fenomena ini menjadi tantangan pastoral kompleks akibat faktor ekonomi, sosial, dan pengaruh teknologi. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis faktor penyebab keterasingan umat dan strategi pastoral yang diterapkan untuk membangun kembali keterlibatan umat dalam kehidupan menggereja. Metode yabg dimenggunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik wawancara terhadap Pastor Paroki, Ketua DPP, Ketua KBG, dan umat. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa keterasingan umat dipicu oleh faktor personal, sosial, serta melemahnya rasa memiliki terhadap komunitas iman. Strategi Pastoral yang diterapkan meliputi kunjungan pastoral, pendampingan keluarga, penguatan KBG, dan pendekatan persuasif personl. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa model pastorla integratif lebih efektif membanhun kembali relasi umat dibandingkan pendekatan yang hanya berfokus pada kegiatan liturgis. Kebaharuan penelitian ini terletak pada identifikasi model Pastoral integratif dalam konteks paroki pedesaan guna mendukung pengembangan gereja sinodal yang kontekstual dan partisipasif.
