Family communication has an important role in shaping adolescent behavior and is able to overcome the occurrence of juvenile delinquency. This study aims to analyze how effective family communication contributes to overcoming deviant behavior in adolescents. The research uses a qualitative descriptive approach through literature study, observation, and in-depth interviews. The results of the study showed that adolescents who experienced open, empathetic, supportive, and involved in family decision-making tended to have strong emotional attachment, good self-control, and a lower risk of delinquency. Conversely, closed communication, lack of supervision, and emotional distance between parents and children increase adolescents' vulnerability to the negative effects of the social environment. Family communication not only functions as a means of interaction, but also as a preventive strategy in instilling moral values, social norms, and strengthening adolescent self-control. Therefore, strengthening communication in the family is an important effort in overcoming juvenile delinquency in the modern era.
