The selection of a college program is a significant decision for students in high school as it infunces their educational growth and career paths. This research aims to examine how peer influence serves as a factor in the decision-making process regarding college fields of study. A qualitative approach was adoptep for this research, untilizing a phenomenological framework. The participants include three student, a guidance counselor, and a homeroom teacher from class XII F3 at MAN Sukoharjo. Data was gathered thorough interviews, observations, and study of documents. Analysic of the data was perfomed using triangulation techniques. The results reveal that the influence of peers differs based on each student’s level of confidence and self-realiance.
