PENINGKATAN KAPASITAS BISNIS LINTAS NEGARA MELALUI PELATIHAN KULINER NUSANTARA DI MALAYSIA

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan memperkenalkan Nasi Kuning khas Kalimantan Timur kepada pelaku Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah di Melaka Malaysia. Tim pengabdi melaksanakan program ini di Kampung Belimbing Dalam. Sasaran kegiatan berjumlah 16 peserta dari perwakilan Jawatan Kuasa Pembangunan dan Keselamatan Kampung, Jabatan Kemajuan Masyarakat, dan pelaku usaha setempat. Tim Pengabdi menggunakan metode sosialisasi dan pendampingan praktik langsung. Peserta mempraktikkan cara memasak dan menghitung estimasi biaya produksi. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan tingkat pemahaman peserta mencapai rata-rata 89,8%. Edukasi ini berhasil membekali peserta dengan keterampilan teknis dan pemetaan peluang bisnis kuliner baru. Kegiatan ini secara nyata membuka peluang kerja sama wirausaha lintas negara. Tim pengabdi merekomendasikan pendampingan pemasaran digital sebagai tindak lanjut program. Abstract. This community service activity aimed to introduce East Kalimantan’s traditional Nasi Kuning to Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Melaka, Malaysia. The program was conducted in Kampung Belimbing Dalam and involved 16 participants representing the Village Development and Security Committee, the Community Development Department, and local entrepreneurs. The service team employed socialization and hands-on mentoring methods to facilitate participants’ understanding and practical skills. Participants were trained in the preparation of Nasi Kuning and guided in calculating estimated production costs. The evaluation results indicated that the participants achieved an average level of understanding of 89.8%. The program successfully equipped participants with technical culinary skills and enhanced their awareness of potential business opportunities in the food sector. Furthermore, the activity fostered opportunities for cross-border entrepreneurial collaboration between Indonesia and Malaysia. As a follow-up initiative, the service team recommends providing digital marketing assistance to support business development and market expansion.
