Tanjung Redeb sebagai ibu kota Kabupaten Berau merupakan pusat kegiatan pemerintahan, perdagangan, dan permukiman, salah satu bencana yang kerap terjadi adalah banjir perkotaan.Tanjung Redeb sebagai ibu kota Kabupaten Berau merupakan pusat kegiatan pemerintahan, perdagangan, dan permukiman kerap kali mengalami masalah banjir dalam kurun waktu 5 tahun terakhir. Adapun faktor penyebab diantaranya, pertumbuhan penduduk, urbanisasi, perubahan penggunaan lahan, sistem drainase yang buruk dan lain – lain. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk 1) menganalisis sebaran banjir di Kecamatan Tanjung Redeb ; 2) menganalisis tingkat kerawanan banjir di Kecamatan Tanjung Redeb; dan 3) merumuskan trategi mitigasi bencana banjir melalui sistem drainase perkotaan. Metode pengumpulan data yang dilakukan yaitu, observasi lapangan, kuesioner, dan studi literatur. Adapun metode analisis yang digunakan yaitu , NDWI (Normalized Difference Water Index), spasial dengan skoring, dan analisis SWOT. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa Kelurahan Bugis memili persentase banjir paling luas sebesar 90. 22 % atau 0.83 km2 sedangkan Kelurahan Sungai Bedungun memiliki persentase banjir paling rendah sebesar 21.52 % atau 1.9 km2. Adapun hasil tingkat kerawanan banjir tertinggi berada di Kelurahan Tanjung Redeb dan paling rendah berada di Kelurahan Bugis. Selanjutnya, arahan mitigasi dilakukan dengan 1) merevitalisasi dan adaptasi sistem drainase; 2) pengembangan sistem informasi kebencanaan terpadu; dan 3) pengendalian tata ruang. Tanjung Redeb, as the capital of Berau Regency, is the center of government, trade, and settlement activities, and one of the disasters that frequently occurs is urban flooding. Tanjung Redeb, as the capital of Berau Regency, has often experienced flooding problems in the last 5 years. The contributing factors include population growth, urbanization, changes in land use, poor drainage systems, and others. This study aims to 1) analyze the distribution of flooding in Tanjung Redeb District; 2) analyze the level of flood vulnerability in Tanjung Redeb District; and 3) formulate flood disaster mitigation strategies through urban drainage systems. The data collection methods used are field observations, questionnaires, and literature studies. The analytical methods used are NDWI (Normalized Difference Water Index), spatial scoring, and SWOT analysis. The results of this study indicate that Bugis Village has the largest flood percentage at 90.22% or 0.83 km², while Sungai Bedungun Village has the lowest flood percentage at 21.52% or 1.9 km². The highest level of flood vulnerability is found in Tanjung Redeb Village, while the lowest is in Bugis Village. The highest flood vulnerability level is found in the Tanjung Redeb sub-district, while the lowest is in the Bugis sub-district. Furthermore, mitigation measures are directed towards 1) revitalizing and adapting the drainage system; 2) developing an integrated disaster information system; and 3) controlling spatial planning.
