Learning poetry writing in eighth grade is still hampered by low student motivation, participation, and ability to express ideas. This study aims to describe the process of implementing the Genially-assisted Problem Based Learning model, assess student responses, and measure its effectiveness on poetry writing skills. The method used was a mixed methods approach with an Exploratory Sequential design, through documentation, observation, questionnaires, and a pretest-posttest. The study subjects were 20 eighth-grade students at MTs Az-Zahra Selacau. The results showed that the implementation of Genially-assisted PBL achieved an excellent rating, with 100% teacher observation and 93% student observation. Student responses were also positive, with an average score of 81.12%. Poetry writing ability increased from an average score of 55 to 85.7, and learning completion increased from 15% to 80%. An n-gain test of 0.68 indicates moderate effectiveness. Overall, the use of Genially-assisted PBL improved student skills, motivation, and engagement in poetry writing learning.
