Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya penguasaan kosakata Bahasa Arab siswa, sehingga diperlukan model pembelajaran yang efektif untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas serta besaran pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Make a Match dalam penguasaan kosakata Bahasa Arab siswa kelas IV SQ PKBM Abu Bakar Ash-Shiddiq Pulau Damar Bandar Lampung. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain pre-experimental jenis one-group pretest-posttest design. Populasi penelitian berjumlah 61 siswa, dengan sampel sebanyak 12 siswa yang dipilih melalui teknik purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan tes kosakata, sedangkan analisis data meliputi uji validitas, reliabilitas, uji normalitas, uji paired sample t-test, dan uji koefisien determinasi (R-Square) dengan bantuan IBM SPSS Statistics 26. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa instrumen valid dan reliabel dengan nilai Cronbach’s Alpha sebesar 0,949. Data berdistribusi normal dengan nilai signifikansi pretest 0,367 dan posttest 0,200 (> 0,05). Hasil uji paired sample t-test menunjukkan nilai signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05, yang berarti terdapat pengaruh signifikan model pembelajaran terhadap peningkatan penguasaan kosakata siswa. Namun demikian, hasil uji R-Square menunjukkan nilai sebesar 0,297 (29,7%), yang mengindikasikan bahwa kontribusi model pembelajaran tergolong rendah, sedangkan sisanya dipengaruhi faktor lain. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa model Make a Match efektif secara statistik, namun perlu dikombinasikan dengan strategi lain agar hasil pembelajaran lebih optimal. This study was motivated by the low level of students’ Arabic vocabulary mastery, which indicates the need for an effective instructional model to improve learning outcomes. The objective of this study was to determine the effectiveness and the magnitude of the effect of the Make a Match cooperative learning model on students’ Arabic vocabulary mastery at the fourth-grade level of SQ PKBM Abu Bakar Ash-Shiddiq Pulau Damar, Bandar Lampung. This study employed a quantitative approach using a pre-experimental design with a one-group pretest-posttest format. The population consisted of 61 students, while the sample included 12 students selected through purposive sampling.Data were collected using vocabulary tests and analyzed through validity, reliability, normality, paired sample t-test, and coefficient of determination (R-Square) tests with the assistance of IBM SPSS Statistics 26. The results indicated that the instrument was valid and reliable, with a Cronbach’s Alpha value of 0.949. The data were normally distributed, with significance values of 0.367 for the pretest and 0.200 for the posttest (> 0.05). The paired sample t-test showed a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, indicating a statistically significant effect of the Make a Match model on improving students’ vocabulary mastery. However, the R-Square value was 0.297 (29.7%), suggesting that the effect size was relatively low, with the remaining variance influenced by other factors. In conclusion, the Make a Match cooperative learning model is statistically effective but should be combined with other instructional strategies to achieve more optimal learning outcomes.
