Communication between students and lecturers in the Informatics Engineering Study Program at Riau University has so far relied on social media such as WhatsApp and email, which has led to problems such as mixing academic and personal messages and difficulty tracking discussion topics. This study aims to design and build a structured academic website-based consultation application with features for grouping message subjects, prioritizing, discussion groups, and conversation management. The method used is Research and Development (R&D) with a prototyping approach. The application was developed using the Laravel framework and evaluated based on ISO/IEC 25010 quality standards and the User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) involving 86 respondents. The test results showed a functionality value of 100%, performance efficiency with a PageSpeed score of 97 (desktop), and reliability, maintainability, and security received an A rating from SonarQube. Portability and compatibility aspects reached 100% across various browsers and devices. The UEQ evaluation showed a mean value of all scales above 2.0, which is included in the very good category. These results indicate that the system has excellent technical quality and user experience. The contribution of this research is to provide a subject-based academic consultation application model and conversation status that was not available in previous academic consultation systems.
