The academic guidance process in the Informatics Engineering Study Program at the University of Riau is still carried out informally through media such as WhatsApp, which causes a lack of documentation, delays in communication, and low involvement of the head of the study program in supervision. This study aims to develop a website-based academic guidance reservation system to improve the efficiency and transparency of the guidance process. The research employs the Research and Development (R&D) method with a two-iteration prototyping approach and the Laravel framework for implementation. The system is tested using the ISO 25010 approach, which covers eight quality aspects: functional suitability (100% of test cases successful), reliability (system stable across various devices), performance efficiency (fast response across various browsers), usability (users rated the interface as easy to use), compatibility, security (SonarQube analysis showed an A rating with no security issues), maintainability, and portability (functions optimally across various devices and browsers). Additionally, the User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) test showed very high scores across all scales, with the category “Excellent” according to international benchmark standards. The conclusion of this study indicates that the developed application is capable of addressing various academic guidance challenges, as well as supporting more efficient, structured, and easily accessible communication and scheduling processes for all parties involved.
