This research aims to analyze the multicultural and spiritual values ​​contained in the religious tourism of the Virgin Mary Statue in Gurita Bay and see its relationship to community life and strengthening national identity in the Indonesia-Timor Leste border area. This research uses a literature study method with a qualitative approach. The results of the research show that the religious tourism of the Virgin Mary Statue at Gurita Bay is a meeting place for various groups of people who come from various social backgrounds, cultures and different community identities. The statue of the Virgin Mary is a symbol of peace and unity in the Indonesia-Timor Leste border area. Through religious activities, going to the statue of the Virgin Mary can strengthen kinship relations and social harmony and can be a means of unifying society even though they live in different countries.
