This community service activity aimed to improve the knowledge of adults and older adults regarding tuberculosis (TB) prevention through a health education program conducted in Lambung Bukit, Pauh District, Padang. The program was implemented under the MBKM-PK scheme by students of the Faculty of Public Health, Andalas University, using a community education approach evaluated through pre-test and post-test assessment. Participants consisted of local health cadres and community members who attended orientation, pre-test administration, material delivery using digital presentation media, interactive discussion, and post-test assessment. The educational content covered the definition of TB, modes of transmission, symptoms, risk factors, preventive measures, actions to take when symptoms appear, and the importance of seeking examination at health facilities. A total of 26 participants completed both the pre-test and post-test. The evaluation showed that the mean knowledge score increased from 5.23 in the pre-test to 7.23 in the post-test, indicating an increase of 2.00 points on a 0-10 scale. These findings indicate that the health education intervention contributed positively to improving participants' knowledge of TB prevention and early detection. The involvement of community health cadres also supported clearer message delivery and community engagement. Therefore, community-based health education should be continued and integrated with primary healthcare programs to strengthen TB prevention at the household and community levels.
