The massive integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and hyper-personalized, curated social media algorithms has triggered an escalation of cognitive crises and psychosocial degradation on a global scale. This paper conducts a comprehensive synthesis of 24 multidisciplinary scientific literatures (spanning 2013–2026) to map the causal dynamics and correlations among three interdependent phenomena: Digital Amnesia, Doomscrolling, and Phubbing. Digital Amnesia & Cognitive Erosion: Key findings indicate that the externalization of cognitive functions to AI-based assistants consistently erodes long-term memory retrieval through an amplified Google Effect. The human brain adaptively prioritizes energetic efficiency, outsourcing the burden of information storage to the digital ecosystem, which in the long run triggers functional atrophy within working memory circuits. Doomscrolling & Affective Desensitization: On the other hand, constant exposure to negative content stimulation facilitated by omnipresent algorithms drives doomscrolling behavior. Neurobiologically, this information asymmetry exploits the dopaminergic reward system and induces a state of chronic stress (constant activation of the HPA axis). The systemic impact of this condition manifests as up to a 20% decline in affective empathy scores, a form of emotional desensitization toward external suffering. Phubbing & Social Fragmentation: This cognitive fragmentation mutates into phubbing (phone-snubbing) behavior within the social sphere. Empirical data confirms that phubbing has undergone sociological normalization, shifting the structure of interpersonal interactions from deep engagement to mediated presence. This phenomenon significantly damages relationship satisfaction in romantic partnerships and degrades the quality of qualitative social cohesion. In conclusion, the accumulation of these three digital pathologies increases the risk of digital dementia—a decline in functional cognitive capacity that resembles organic brain injury. This study recommends structural interventions based on digital mindfulness and the regulated restoration of face-to-face interactions as the primary mitigation protocols to restore the cognitive homeostasis of modern humans. Abstrak Integrasi masif kecerdasan buatan (AI) dan algoritma media sosial yang terkurasi secara hiper-personal telah memicu eskalasi krisis kognitif dan degradasi psikososial pada skala global. Makalah ini melakukan sintesis komprehensif terhadap 24 literatur ilmiah multidisipliner (rentang waktu 2013–2026) untuk memetakan dinamika kausalitas dan korelasi antara tiga fenomena interdependen: Digital Amnesia, Doomscrolling, dan Phubbing. Digital Amnesia & Erosi Kognitif, temuan kunci menunjukkan bahwa eksternalisasi fungsi kognitif kepada asisten berbasis AI secara konsisten mengikis retensi memori jangka panjang (long-term memory retrieval) melalui efek Google Effects yang teramplifikasi. Otak manusia secara adaptif memprioritaskan efisiensi energetik, mentransfer beban penyimpanan informasi ke ekosistem digital, yang pada jangka panjang memicu atrofi fungsional pada sirkuit memori kerja. Doomscrolling & Desensitisasi Afektif, di sisi lain, paparan konstan terhadap stimulasi konten negatif yang difasilitasi oleh algoritma omnipresent mendorong perilaku doomscrolling. Secara neurobiologis, asimetri informasi ini mengeksploitasi sistem penghargaan dopaminergik dan menginduksi kondisi stres kronis (aktivasi konstan aksis HPA). Dampak sistemik dari kondisi ini bermanifestasi pada penurunan skor empati afektif hingga 20%, sebuah bentuk desensitisasi emosional terhadap penderitaan eksternal. Phubbing & Fragmentasi Sosial, fragmentasi kognitif ini bermutasi menjadi perilaku phubbing (phone-snubbing) di ranah sosial. Data empiris mengonfirmasi bahwa phubbing telah mengalami normalisasi sosiologis, menggeser struktur interaksi interpersonal dari deep engagement menjadi mediated presence. Fenomena ini secara signifikan merusak kepuasan hubungan romantis (relationship satisfaction) dan menurunkan kualitas kohesi sosial kualitatif. Sebagai konklusi, akumulasi dari ketiga patologi digital ini meningkatkan risiko digital dementia—sebuah penurunan kapasitas kognitif fungsional yang menyerupai cedera otak organik. Kajian ini merekomendasikan intervensi struktural berbasis digital mindfulness dan restorasi interaksi tatap muka secara terregulasi sebagai protokol mitigasi utama untuk memulihkan homeostasis kognitif manusia modern.
